Whether formal and proper, or relaxed and playful, we have a package to suit any palate and budget. You will always get perfectly selected wines, a bit of education and warm memories of a unique occasion.

service offerings

• Tutored tastings - Rent-A-Somm will lead guests through an analysis of various wines in an educational and fun manner! Learn as much (or as little) as you like and leave choosing the wines to us (note: food pairing is not a focus with this option)

• In-home wine pairing dinners - Whether cooked by your home chef or catered by a professional (sourced by you or us), your expert-led tasting dinner is presented in an entertaining and approachable style. Wines are perfectly paired to selected food courses. Rent-A-Somm will give an overview of each wine at the start of every course and explain the reasoning behind the particular pairing. The style of delivery can be dialed up or down from approachable and entertaining to formal and sophisticated (and still entertaining because we just can't help ourselves!).

• Staff/client appreciation parties - Wine-themed appreciation parties can include amusing games, tasting flights and optional food pairings, guaranteeing a good time for all.

Services are completely customizable to meet your needs and your budget. We can discuss a theme, whether food will be a component, and decide on an average bottle price.

Sample themes include: various wines from a single country (ex. wines of France); comparison of a specific varietal from different countries (ex. Cabernet Sauvignon from France, U.S., and Chile); or we can go “Around The World,” and showcase several different countries and the wines they are best known for.
